Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Booking & Availability

⭐️ How do I book a yacht?

Choose the yacht you like, then contact us with:

  • preferred date
  • start time
  • number of guests
  • yacht name

We’ll confirm availability and send a secure link to reserve your date with a deposit.

For fastest booking: call or text (954) 999-7164.

⭐️ Can I book last-minute?

Yes, if the yacht and crew are available. Same-day bookings are possible but not guaranteed, especially on weekends.

⭐️ How far in advance should I book?

Weekends and holidays usually book out early. We recommend:

  • 3–4 weeks ahead for weekends/holidays
  • 1–2 weeks ahead for weekdays (when possible)

⭐️ What information do you need to confirm my booking?

To confirm your reservation we usually need:

  • charter date and time
  • guest count
  • preferred yacht
  • your name + phone number
  • deposit payment

We’ll also confirm meeting location and trip logistics.

⭐️ Is my booking confirmed once I message you?

A charter is confirmed only after:

  1. we confirm availability in writing, and
  2. your deposit is received, and
  3. you receive a confirmation message.

Pricing & Payments

⭐️ Do I need to pay the full amount upfront?

No. A deposit secures your reservation. The remaining balance is typically due before boarding on the day of the charter (we’ll confirm the exact method and timing with your booking details).

⭐️ What payment methods do you accept?

We accept:

  • Zelle
  • Cash
  • Credit cards (may include a small processing fee)

⭐️ Why do you take a deposit?

The deposit reserves:

  • a specific yacht
  • a specific time slot
  • crew availability

Once reserved, that slot is removed from availability.

⭐️ Is the deposit refundable?

Deposits are non-refundable. Please review our Terms & Charter Policies for full details.

⭐️ Are there taxes or fees?

Pricing can vary by yacht and package. Your booking confirmation will clearly show:

  • charter rate
  • deposit amount
  • remaining balance
  • any optional add-ons you requested

No surprises.

⭐️ What’s included in the standard charter price?

Most charters include:

  • the yacht for the reserved duration
  • a USCG-licensed captain
  • standard fuel for the planned route
  • basic onboard amenities (varies by yacht), commonly:
    • water and ice
    • cooler
    • basic cups/plates/napkins
    • towels (on many yachts)
    • Bluetooth sound system
    • floating mat (on many yachts)
  • standard end-of-trip cleaning

Exact inclusions vary by yacht; we’ll confirm what’s included in your booking message.

⭐️ What’s NOT included?

Common exclusions:

  • gratuity for captain/crew (customary)
  • catering/bartender/DJ services (optional)
  • premium add-ons (decorations, jet skis, slides, special water toys)
  • extra fuel if the route changes beyond the standard itinerary
  • overtime if you extend time

Captain & Crew

⭐️ Are captains licensed?

Yes. Captains are USCG-licensed and experienced in Miami waters.

⭐️ How does captain selection work?

For legal and safety reasons, a licensed captain is required for every charter.

Before your trip (typically the day before), we’ll send you a list of available captains. You’ll contact one to confirm. Your trip must have a confirmed captain before departure.

⭐️ Who is in charge onboard?

The captain has final authority over: safety, route decisions, weather-related decisions, guest behavior onboard.

Security / Damage Deposit

⭐️ Do you require a security deposit?

Some yachts require a refundable security deposit (commonly $300–$500).

⭐️ What is the deposit used for?

It may be used to cover:

  • damage to the yacht
  • missing items
  • excessive cleaning
  • violations of onboard rules

If no issues occur, it’s returned after the charter (timing depends on the yacht/processing method).

Weather Policy

⭐️ Do charters run if it rains?

Yes — charters operate rain or shine. Light rain, cloudy skies, or “bad-looking weather” does not automatically cancel a trip.

⭐️ What if weather is unsafe?

If the captain determines marine conditions are unsafe to depart, the charter may be rescheduled based on availability.

⭐️ Who decides if it’s safe to go out?

The captain makes the final decision for safety and vessel operation.

Cancellation, Rescheduling & Changes

⭐️ Can I cancel?

Please assume a strict policy:

  • Deposits are non-refundable
  • No-shows and late arrivals are non-refundable

Full details are on our Terms & Charter Policies page.

⭐️ Can I reschedule?

Rescheduling may be possible with sufficient notice and based on availability (see Terms & Charter Policies). Weather reschedules happen only if conditions are deemed unsafe by the captain.

⭐️ Can I change the guest count or yacht?

You can request changes, but changes are subject to:

  • availability
  • yacht capacity rules
  • pricing adjustments

We’ll always confirm changes in writing.

Charter Day Logistics

⭐️ Where do we meet the yacht?

Meeting locations vary by yacht and marina. We’ll send:

  • marina address
  • arrival instructions
  • captain contact info
    before your trip.

⭐️ How early should we arrive?

Please arrive 30 minutes before departure to:

  • park / check-in
  • meet your captain
  • load items
  • receive a safety briefing

⭐️ What if we arrive late?

Late arrival does not extend your end time. Your yacht may have another charter after yours.

If you’re extremely late, it may be treated as a no-show (see Terms).

⭐️ How long are typical charters?

Most charters are:

  • 4 hours (most popular)
  • 6 hours
  • 8 hours

Guest Limits & Rules

⭐️ How many guests are allowed?

Most yachts allow up to 13 passengers (typical Coast Guard limit). Some larger yachts allow more.

If you have more than 13, contact us and we’ll recommend options.

⭐️ Are kids allowed?

Yes. Children must be supervised at all times. Safety equipment and life jackets are available.

⭐️ Are pets allowed?

Some yachts are pet-friendly. Ask us first so we can confirm with the specific vessel.

Food, Drinks, Decorations & Music

⭐️ Can we bring our own food and drinks?

Yes — you may bring your own food and drinks.

⭐️ Any items we should avoid?

Common restrictions (varies by yacht):

  • glass items on deck
  • red wine / red drinks that stain
  • glitter/confetti
  • messy powders/sprays

When in doubt, ask us first.

⭐️ Can we decorate?

Usually yes, with basic decorations that don’t damage surfaces. Large installs or special decor setups may be an add-on.

⭐️ Can we play our own music?

Yes — most yachts have Bluetooth audio. Bring your playlist and be ready to connect.

Routes & Experience

⭐️ Where do we usually go?

Popular Miami routes include:

  • Sandbar areas
  • Bayside skyline views
  • Celebrity homes routes
  • Downtown / Brickell views

⭐️ Can we choose the route?

You can request preferences. Final route depends on:

  • weather and marine conditions
  • time booked
  • local rules
  • captain judgment for safety

⭐️ Can we swim?

Yes, in designated safe areas approved by the captain.

Safety & Conduct

⭐️ What safety equipment is onboard?

Typical equipment includes:

  • life jackets
  • fire extinguishers
  • first-aid kit

⭐️ Are there behavior rules?

Yes. Guests must follow crew instructions. Unsafe or illegal behavior can result in trip termination without refund (see Terms).

Gratuity

⭐️ Is tip included?

No. Gratuity is not included.

⭐️ How much should we tip?

Customary gratuity is 15–20% of the charter rate (at your discretion, based on service).

About the Yacht
